Karen Anderson
Karen is a highly experienced U.S. Figure Skating official with national-level appointments as a Data Operator and Technical Specialist in singles, along with certified Video Replay appointments across multiple disciplines. She also serves as a Sectional Competition Judge and Gold-level Test Judge in singles, pairs, and skating skills. Karen’s technical and judging background supports competitions and athlete development at multiple levels of our sport.
Paul Bellantuono
Paul is an International Technical Specialist in Ice Dance and a National-level Technical Specialist in both ice dance and solo dance. He also serves as a certified Video Replay official for Ice Dance events. In addition to his officiating activities, Paul brings extensive expertise as a coach and former international competitor in Ice Dance.
Virginia Charles
Virginia is a longtime U.S. Figure Skating official serving as a Gold-level Test Judge in dance, singles, pairs, and skating skills, including an International certification in ice dance testing. She also holds Competition Judge appointments in singles, ice dance, and solo dance. Virginia has contributed extensively to competitions and testing throughout the skating community.
Kathleen (Kathy) Cook
Kathy serves as a National-level Scoring Official for U.S. Figure Skating competitions. Her work supports the accurate scoring and operation of competitive events. Kathy is also actively involved in skating governance and volunteer leadership within the sport and serves as a DSC Board of Director.
Patricia Creed-Smith
Patricia is a U.S. Figure Skating official with Gold-level Test Judge appointments in singles, pairs, and skating skills. She also serves as a Competition Judge in singles and airs and supports athletes through the U.S. Figure Skating testing structure. Patricia has been an active and longstanding member of the Detroit Skating Club and the broader skating community through both officiating and volunteer service.
Megan Faulkner
Megan serves as a National Technical Specialist in singles and also holds appointments as a Data Operator and certified Video Replay official across multiple disciplines. Her technical expertise as an official and National, International, World, and Olympic coach supports both competitions and athlete development. Megan contributes to U.S. Figure Skating through a combination of technical panel and officiating roles.
Christina Kerr
Christina is a U.S. Figure Skating Test Judge with Gold-level appointments in dance and skating skills, as well as a Pre-Silver Singles appointment. She supports athletes throughout the U.S. Figure Skating testing structure. Christina is an active contributor to the officiating community at DSC.
Pine Kopka-Ross
Pine is a National Referee and National Competition Judge in singles, pairs and showcase, as well as a National Technical Specialist in singles. He also holds National-level appointments as a Data Operator and certified Video Replay appointments across multiple disciplines. In addition to officiating, Pine serves as President/CEO of the Detroit Skating Club, currently chairs the U.S. Figure Skating Competitions Committee, and is a former singles national-level competitor.
William Lindsay
William is an experienced Skate Canada & U.S. Figure Skating official serving as a Qualifying Referee in Singles/Pairs and a Sectional Referee in Dance. He also holds Sectional Competition Judge appointments along with Gold-level Test Judge appointments across multiple disciplines. William has supported competitions and testing through a wide range of officiating roles.
Danielle Minnis
Danielle is an International Judge in Singles and Pairs and also serves as a National Referee and National Competition Judge. She holds Gold-level Test Judge appointments in singles, pairs, and skating skills and serves as a certified Video Replay official. Danielle’s officiating and competitive experience spans both national and international levels of the sport.
Lynmarie Posey
Lynmarie serves as a Competition Judge in singles and ice dance and holds Gold-level Test Judge appointments in singles, pairs, and skating skills. She also supports dance judging and testing within U.S. Figure Skating.
Aya Takai
Aya is a National Ice Dance Judge and Sectional Referee in ice dance, singles, and airs, with additional appointments as a Technical Controller in ice dance and solo dance. She also serves as a Gold-level Test Judge across multiple disciplines and as a certified Video Replay official. Aya brings extensive expertise to officiating as a former national competitor in ice dance, singles, and synchronized skating and international competitor in pairs. In addition to officiating, she also serves as a DSC Board Director.
Christina Vandermissen
Christina is a National Theatre on Ice Competition Judge and also serves as a Qualifying Competition Judge in singles and airs and a Sectional Ice Dance Judge. She holds Gold-level Test Judge appointments in ice dance, singles, pairs, and skating skills. Christina supports a wide range of competitive and testing activities within U.S. Figure Skating.
