All Virtual Test Dates are the 15th of every month
DSC Virtual Test Guidelines (USFSA Virtual Testing Guidelines)
- All tests must be signed up and paid for in Daysmart by the registration deadline
- The forms provided below are required for all virtual tests - affidavit, name/likeness form, out of club permission (if applicable)
- Videos must include the USFS placard with virtual test date (not date of recording)
- Videos must be recorded no more than 14 days before the virtual test date
- Video must be recorded and then uploaded to YouTube (public view)
- Once uploaded to Youtube, click the “share” arrow and then “copy link”
- Paste the link into your email to Liz Williams ( L-jwilliams@comcast.net )
- Video link and all paperwork are to be submitted to Liz Williams before the test date
USFS Video Criteria (link to detailed video requirements)
- Must be recorded in Landscape Mode.
- Must be of the highest quality possible (at least 720p).
- Must show skaters full body throughout the video
- Must be recorded on a session with less than 8 people.
- If it’s a skating skills test, no music may be playing in the background
NOTE: If the test chair and/or judge(s) feel the video does not meet the quality criteria, submission for judging may be denied
